Voting is underway for the August 20th, 2024 primary. Please vote on Election Day August 20th, or you can vote absentee or early in person at Anchorage City Hall or the Division of Elections Office in Midtown.
I'm the only person on the ballot in House District 17--I'd appreciate your vote, but the primary won't change what the general election ballot looks like.
I have had people ask me how ranked choice affects the Congressional ballot. You can vote for *one candidate* in the primary, and the top four vote-getters will advance to the November general election. When you vote in the general election, you can rank your choices for Congress or just vote for one person.
